Each marionette is a handmade one-of-a-kind piece that charmingly captures the character and personality of its subject.

How Is Your Custom Marionette Made from a Photo?
To make your custom puppet as true to life as possible, I’ll need a few reference photos in advance:
- Front-facing photos: Several photos taken from the front to capture the exact facial features.
- Profile photo: At least one photo taken from the side.
- Full-body photo: A photo of the person from head to toe to get the proportions and clothing right.
The highlight: Lifelike porcelain eyes
For the eyes, I use special porcelain eyes with real glass lenses. This gives the marionettes an amazingly lifelike, deep gaze that truly brings the puppet to life. We’ll easily agree on the right skin, eye and hair colors in advance using a custom color chart.

When making marionettes, I’m committed to quality and environmental responsibility. Wherever possible, I use natural, eco-friendly materials for the figures and their clothing. Every detail is shaped by hand in my workshop with precision.
Prices, Delivery Times and Payment Terms
- Prices for Portrait Marionettes: Custom-made puppets from a photo start at approx. €700. The final price depends on the time and materials required (e.g. special clothing or props).
- Lead time: Production currently takes 8 to 10 weeks as a rule. If you need the puppet by an earlier date, a shorter lead time may be possible by arrangement with other customers.
- A straightforward process: Payment is made in 3 to 4 relaxed installments throughout the production process. While I work on your puppet, I’ll keep you regularly updated by email with photos of its progress. We’ll agree on the exact payment terms flexibly.
